MM - 455 Differential Equations

Welcome to Springfield Technical Community College's MM 455, Differential Equations, distance learning project. This course is offered over the WWW by Prof. Richard Burns in order to better serve our students who, for any number of valid reasons, may find it difficult to attend our evening division program in the traditional manner.

ATTENTION! All students signing up for Differential Equations. I am modifying the MATH455 site, transfering it to blackboard. The basic content is here, but there will be some changes in administration. Please email me after you have enrolled and I will contact you.

We will cover the MM - 455 syllabus. Twenty-two lectures will be presented as individual web pages with graphics generated by Mathematica 4.0. Homework will be assigned and questions will be answered. Tests, as usual, will be administered and graded. A comprehensive final exam will be given to each student finishing the course. The final grade will be a combination of tests and the final exam given in the syllabus. I will be available during the day and some nights for individual help sessions, but, in general, all work, tests and questions will take place over the internet.
